A label printer (10) is provided for printing a label (L) having a front label area (L1) positioned in front in a feeding direction and a rear label area (L2) continuous to the front label area. The label printer (10) is provided with a printing means (12) for printing the label (L), an adhering means (14) for adhering the label (L) on an object (W) whereupon the label is to be adhered while holding the label, and a folding back means (15) for folding back the front label area (L1) to a rear side of the rear label area (L2). The adhering means (14) is provided to adhere the label (L) on the object (W) after the front label area (L1) is folded back and adhered on the rear label area (L2) by the folding back means (15).
