Thus, it is possible to provide a large-area water float to be put on a pond or a lake which is appropriately usable for preventing the deterioration of the water qualities due to the growth of blue-green algae, etc., or for mountinga device (for example, a decorative device such as an illumination, an advertising medium or a solar battery) favorably having a large area. By two-dimensionally connecting two or more these water floats to each other, a connected water float system having a further enlarged area can be formed.
