A polyester fiber tape which is a flexible tape and yet scarcely elongated under tension. the is a tape for bone fixation produced by knitting the polyester fiber into a tape and then stretching the same. Under tension, it shows the maximum Young's modulus, which is measured in the course where the elongation on the stress/elongation curve attains 5% based on the original length, of 2 GPa or more.
