The invention relates to a method for the continuous implementation of polymerisation processes, especially for the homopolymerisation or copolymerisation of thermoplasts and elastomers, wherein monomer(s), catalysts, initiators etc. are continuously added to a back-mixing kneader mixer (1-1.3) with a length/diameter ratio of 0.5 to 3.5, and are back-mixed with the already mixed product containedtherein, and the reacted product is simultaneously continuously drawn off from the kneader mixer (1-1.3).
