The dielectric layer comprises a bed of multiple metal oxide pieces, and through-holes are formed by the spaces between the multiple metal oxide pieces. The capacitor is also provided with insulating parts, on the electrode which faces the openings of the holes in the dielectric layer, which cover the hole openings. In this capacitor, short-circuits between the electrodes are prevented, yielding high reliability.
