The device (1) includes means (5) for determining, in an iterative manner, according to a predicted energy state, optimal commands of means (10, 11) for controlling the slats, the flaps and the landing gear of the aircraft, which allow the aircraft to reach a given point of a trajectory in a given energy state with a given aerodynamic configuration and a given position of the landing gear.
