The invention provides a method for producing a polarizing plate, and the method is used for manufacturing the polarizing plate which is formed by pasting ttransparent protection films on two surfaces of a polarizing sheet between a pair of rollers. The method can inhibit crimping and curving. According to the method, a first transparent protection film and a second transparent protection film, which are different in elasticity and defined through a value of the formula: elasticity modulus (MPa)*thickness (micron), are partitioned by a bonding layer, and are enabled to pass through the pair of rollers with different hardness at the same time to be attached to two surfaces of the polarizing sheet. In the above pair of rollers, a high-elasticity film is delivered from a low-hardness roller side, and a low-elasticity film is delivered from a high-hardness roller side.
