The switching quantity output module comprises a power supply source, a CPU module, a power-on delay circuit, a communication circuit and a digital quantity output channel circuit, wherein the power supply source is used for supplying power to the whole switching quantity output module, the CPU module is used for communicating with a control station of the DCS through the communication circuit, the CPU module is used for outputting control signals to the digital quantity output channel circuit and controlling the digital quantity output channel circuit to output switching quantity signals to onsite equipment, and the power-on delay circuit is used for receiving rest signals and delaying power supply to the digital quantity output channel circuit. The switching quantity output module of the DCS can record a state before resetting and can maintain an output state after the resetting consistent with the state before the resetting.
