The method includes obtaining an attribute operation by a user on a wireless access point, and determining access point attribute information about the wireless access point according to the attribute operation. Based on an attribute operation submitted by UGC of a large number of users on a wireless access point, and then by determining access point attribute information about the wireless access point according to the attribute operation, such as an acceptation/correction/complaint operation on an attribute of an access point, lots of accurate and reliable access point attribute information can be automatically accumulated, without the work of collecting the access point attribute information offline in a labor-consuming and time-consuming manner, constructing, without any costs, an accurate, comprehensive and valuable vast-hotpot-information library for big data mining, and enhancing the user experience.
