Disclosed is an information gathering apparatus, system and method for adding time information to operation information of an electronic apparatus that does not contain time information. The information gathering apparatus (1) receives, at a predetermined time interval, pieces of operation information indicating operation statuses of an electronic apparatus generated by the electronic apparatus (such as a printing apparatus 2) and adds time information indicating a time of reception of the pieces of operation information. The information gathering apparatus (1) can receive the pieces of operation information at a predetermined time interval based on difference of the pieces of operation information received at different periods. Moreover, the information gathering apparatus (1) can receive the pieces of operation information at a predetermined time interval based on the type of the electronic apparatus.
