The invention relates to the technical field of tobacco planting, in particular to a tobacco plant cultivating method for increasing the yield of an early blossoming tobacco field, and is used for treating early blossoming tobacco plants. The tobacco plant cultivating method comprises the following treating steps: S1, for the tobacco plants with the number of effective leaves being smaller than 10, cutting the tobacco plants and keeping the heights of the stems of the tobacco plants at 20-30cm; or, for the tobacco plants with the number of effective leaves being equal to or larger than 10, after bolting of the stems of the tobacco plants, topping; S2, selectively keeping one tobacco bud at the second leaf position, counted from top to bottom, of each stem of the tobacco plants for cultivating second-generation tobacco plants; S3, after the tobacco buds grow to 8-15 CM, removing leaves at the kept buds on the stems and the stems above the kept buds, topping when the tobacco buds grow straightly, bolt and blossom, and keeping the preset number of harvestable leaves. By the tobacco plant cultivating method, in coordination with distribution and balanced supply of nutrients for the tobacco plants, the effect of improving the intrinsic quality of the tobacco leaves is significant, and nicotine in the upper tobacco leaves is decreased by 10-15%; meanwhile, directional tobacco cultivation and production can be achieved, adverse effects, caused by improper fertilization in the tobacco field, on the production and the quality, are made up, and the produced tobacco leaves are suitable for being used as brand-oriented raw materials in the cigarette industry.
