The invention provides a special device for stripping the outer aluminum wire off an aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR). The special device comprises a positioning mechanism, a lateral slidingsleeve, a rotating mechanism and a cutting mechanism. The positioning mechanism includes a positioning sleeve, an upper arc pressing plate and a lower arc pressing plate. The lateral sliding sleeve movably sleeves the positioning sleeve. The rotating mechanism includes a driving motor, a driving wheel, a driven wheel and a deep groove ball bearing. The cutting mechanism includes a second threadedrod and a cutting positioning block. The second threaded rod vertically sleeves the front end of a lateral support rod. A cutter assembly for cutting the aluminum wire and a polishing assembly for polishing the cutting burrs of aluminum wire are disposed on the cutting positioning block. The special device can quickly and stably cut and strip the aluminum wire, and can ensure that no burr is disposed at the broken end of the aluminum wire, thereby improving the aluminum wire stripping quality and providing guarantee for improving the work efficiency of the ACSR connection.
