The invention relates to an adjustable press fit machine which comprises two sliding rods arranged in a bilateral symmetry manner. The upper ends of the two sliding rods are connected and fixed through a transverse rod, an upper pressing plate and a lower pressing plate are arranged between the two sliding rods, the upper pressing plate is arranged between the two sliding rods in a sliding manner,the upper pressing plate is in elastic fit with the transverse rod, the lower pressing plate is arranged between the two sliding rods in a sliding manner, and a stretchable air cylinder is arranged at the bottom of the lower pressing plate. The distance between the lower pressing plate and the upper pressing plate is adjusted through the stretchable air cylinder, and therefore under the conditionthat the downward-pressing external force is fixed, and the pressing fit between the two pressing plates is adjusted; the smaller the distance between the two pressing plates is, the smaller the friction force borne by the upper pressing plate in the downward-pressing process, and the larger the pressing force is.
