The interseparation of desacetyl-cephalosporin C, desacetoxy-cephalosporin C and cephalosporin C can be accomplished by adsorbing these available cephalosporins on activated carbon and effecting a fractional elution thereof with water containing 0 to 20 percent (V/V) of an organic solvent or solvents.
