Brake for means of conveyance such as a rolling chair, which brake comprises an axle (26), of which one end is connected to the frame of the rolling chair, a lever (25,27) of which one end is connected to the axle (26) such that it can revolve around the axle (26), a brake-block (31) connected to the lever (25,27) spring means (37,38) of which one end is fixed to the frame by means of a block (35) and an axle (33) and the other end of the spring means to the lever (25, 27) by means of a case 41 and bolts.
