R 1 and R 3 independently are H or C 1-6 alkyl and
R 2 is H, C 1-6 alkyl or halo are prepared from a 5-aroyl-3-hydroxycarbonyl-4-substituted pyrrole-2-acetic acid via acidic decarboxylation.
