摘要：
Video disc reproducing apparatus comprises a pickup (5) having a stylus (5a) in capacative contact with the surface of a video disc (1). The pressure of the stylus (5a) in the disc (1) is adjusted in proportion to a logarithm of the reproduced signal amplitude by a control circuit (15) including a logarithmic converter (11), a rectifier (12) and a low pass filter (13). In a further embodiment the output from an automatic gain control circuit which is used to maintain the output signal constant is used to control the pressure of the stylus.
