This invention provides a medicinal patch comprising a solution or suspension of drug component and penetration enhancer dispersed in a base selected predominantly from cacao butter, isocacao butter and triglycerides of C 12 to C 18 vegetable saturated fatty acids. This patch composition is usually provided in a shallow dish for adhering to the skin.
