摘要：
A metal-ceramic composite body with a protruding portion on a ceramic member (l) fitted into a recessed portion of a metallic member is given high joint strength and reliability by fitting the protruding portion into a recessed portion of an intermediate member (2) of low thermal expansion coefficient and joining the intermediate member to a main metallic member (3). The difference between the inner diameter of the recessed portion of the intermediate member and the outer diameter of the protruding portion of the ceramic member is not less than 0.2% of the outer diameter of the protruding portion, when the protruding portion is pulled out from the concave portion.
