Process and plant (1) for continuously manufacturing prodcts of latex foam comprising recesses, as mattresses and the like.
A plurality of recesses or cells are molded on the layer of latex laid and moved forward, said recesses comprising a base open on the laying surface and being subsequently cross-linked by introducing steam under pressure into the cavity formed during the molding step through the base of the cell.
The plant comprises a conveyor element (2) in which a plurality of plates (25) placed side by side are provided with protuberances (26) corresponding to the cells to be formed in a latex layer.
The protuberances are open at the base for introducing steam into the inner space.
