The web slitter and groover system for forming first and second spaced circular grooves (16,18) in a roll product (10) includes first and second web cutting assemblies (28,30) alternately and sequentially movable to form web segments of diminished width along spaced portions thereof which, when wound, form the grooves (16,18).
