A lubricating grease composition comprises a basic oil, a smaller proportion of thickener based on a polycarbamide compound, as well as ordinary additives. The basic oil is an ester of an aromatic di-, tri- or tetracarboxylic acid and one or more C7-C18 alkanols, and the thickener is the reaction product of a compound or formula A(B)n (I), and an amine of formula H2N-R (II), where A denotes CH4-n, B is an aromatic mono- or diisocyanate residue, n = 1, 2 or 3, and R is an alkyl or alkenyl residue with 8 to 22 C atoms or an aryl residue with 6 to 10 C atoms. The mixture of basic oil and thickener has a consistency with a penetration of 220-385, 0.1 mm.
