Each frequency/phase accumulator includes a frequency accumulator driving phase accumulator. In the pipelined configuration the frequency accumulator and the phase accumulator of each frequency/phase accumulator are interconnected with the corresponding accumulator of the neighbouring frequency/phase accumulator.
