摘要：
A cutting roller (1) or a punching cylinder with a roller body (2) and in particular a raised cutter support (3) with a cutter (5) which extends at least over a part of the surface of the roller body (2) has a longer service life than conventional cutting rollers (1). To this end, a hardmetal wire with cutting flanks which form a cutting surface is moulded into a groove which extends over a part of the periphery of the roller body (2) or over a part of the cutter support (3). The cutter (5) of this cutting roller (1) is formed by a hard metal wire the material of which coalesces with that of the roller body (2) or the cutter support (3).
