A hanger (5) for use in conveyors comprises an upper frame (6) suspendable from a free trolley (4), a lower frame (7) for loading thereon the article (10) to be transported, and a pair of front and rear arms (8,8) interconnecting the upper and lower frames and so inclined as to approach each other as the arms (8,8) extend toward lower ends thereof. The arms (8,8) have upper ends pivotably connected to the upper frame (6) and have their lower ends pivotably connected to the lower frame (7). The front and rear arms (8,8), the portion (6a) of the upper frame (6) between the arms (8,8) upper ends and the portion (7a) of the lower frame (7) between the arm lower ends are connected together in the form of a trapezoid which is shorter at its lower side than at its upper side when seen from one side with the upper and lower frames in a horizontal state.
