摘要：
A process for producing a fuel gas for fuel cells, which comprises treating a sulfur-containing hydrocarbon with a desulfurizing agent to reduce the sulfur content to 0.2ppm or less and bringing the treated hydrocarbon into contact with a steam reforming catalyst to provide a fuel gas mainly composed of hydrogen, characterized in that said desulfurizing agent comprises a copper-nickel alloy having a copper to nickel weight ratio of 95 : 5 to 5 : 95.
