Disclosed is a thread wound golf ball comprising a liquid center, a rubber thread layer formed on the liquid center, and a cover covering the rubber thread layer wherein the liquid center has a diameter of 29.5 to 32 mm and the cover has dimples thereon which have total dimple volume in the range of from 230 to 340 mm³.
