An anti-aging preparation for cutaneous application which prevents cutaneous aging, a collagen cross-linking inhibitory preparation for cutaneous application which inhibits collagen cross-linking occurring predominantly in the dermis to maintain skin elasticity and to prevent wrinkles or sagging, and an anti-UV preparation for cutaneous application which protects the skin from bad influences of excessive ultraviolet rays of sunlight are disclosed. The preparations contain one or two of aminoethyl compounds represented by formula (I):

wherein X represents -SO₂H or -SO₂SH,
and preferably containing at least one ultraviolet protective agent.
