Said finishing machine (1) consists of a plurality of modules (8) with at least one tool (11, 12, 16, 29) powered by a motor (14, 14') on each module (8). A number of modules (8) are arranged in the frame (4) in such a way that the modules (8) are facing in different directions (0), and the rotational axes of the tools (11, 12, 16, 29) are essentially parallel or perpendicular to the directions (0) in which the modules (8) are facing. The modules (8) can be reached from miniature work tables (9) and form the basis of the infrastructure enabling the tools (11, 12, 16, 29) to operate.
