The invention concerns an air-pump insert designed to fit in the tube supporting the saddle of a two-wheeled vehicle, in particular a bicycle, the air-pump insert having a pressure cylinder inside which a pusher rod with a piston is disposed so that it can move, the pusher rod (4) being fitted with the valve head (7). The air compressed in the pressure cylinder (1) by means of the pusher rod (4) passes through the pusher rod (4) to the valve head (7).
