In the exhaust gas purifying filter (1) according to the invention, thicknesses of the sealing portions (5) formed in the flow passages (3) of the honeycomb structural body (4) are different at random. Moreover, an exhaust gas purifying apparatus utilizing the exhaust gas purifying filter (1) according to the invention is disclosed.
