摘要：
A bedside cabinet (20) having a generally U-shaped forward access area within which a portable commode (28) may be stored. The cabinet (20) includes an upper drawer cabinet section (52) an a pivoting top panel (38) under which is stored an adjustable shelf (34). The top panel (38) is pivoted to a vertical position, the adjustable shelf (34) is elevated and locked in a desired position and the top panel (38) is then lowered to its normal horizontal position. The portable commode (28) is designed to ft within the cabinet (20) for storage; and in addition, a walker (30) is designed to fit around and be stored on the cabinet (20).
