摘要：
A toner for electrostatic-image development which comprises toner particles comprising a colorant and a binder resin, the toner particles having a volume-average particle diameter of from 3 to 9 µm and a particle size distribution satisfying the following expressions (1) and (2): (1) D16(v)/D50(v) ≤ 1.475 - 0.036 × D50(v) (2) D50(p)/D84(p) ≤ 1.45 wherein D16(v) and D50(v) represent, in terms of absolute value, a cumulative 16% diameter (µm) and a cumulative 50% diameter (µm), respectively, of a cumulative volume particle diameter distribution of the toner particles depicted from the larger diameter side, and D50(p) and D84(p) represent, in terms of absolute value, a cumulative 50% diameter (µm) and a cumulative 84% diameter (µm), respectively, of a cumulative population particle diameter distribution of the toner particles depicted from the larger diameter side.
