The invention concerns a device for issuing tickets (6). The tickets (6) can be torn off by manual operation from a strip roll of tickets (14). To ensure that tickets (6) of any shape are dispensed with constant reliability, the device according to the invention comprises a housing (1) with a dispensing aperture (5) and a holder device (7) for the strip roll (14) which can be mounted in the housing (1). The holder device (7) comprises a lower guide element (8) and two lateral guide elements (9, 9'). Each of the lateral guide elements (9, 9') has a guide slot (10, 10') to receive the axle-mounted strip coil (14). The lower guide element (8) has a dispensing edge (19) at one end for tearing off the tickets (6).
