A structure comprising at least three bars (10, 20, 30) joined together in pairs (10, 20; 20, 30; 30, 10) by a flexible linkage (112, 123, 131), the linkages being interconnected by a common ring-shaped member (40) through which they extend. Each bar (10, 20, 30) comprises channels (11-14, 21-24, 31-34) for the linkages (112, 123, 131).
