At least one of said circumferentially arranged tubes (3) has low compressive and/or tensile strength. The flexible pipe further comprises at least one flexible compressive force transmitting member (5) arranged in said ring-shaped space and adjacent to said tube (3, 4) having low compressive and/or tensile strength.
