The method involves striking with one or more jets of liquid or gas, which may also be different, both the bottom and the side walls of the bottles by means of inclination or rotation of the jets with respect to the axis of the bottles or by means of inclination of the bottles with respect to the jets. The machine of the carousel type with movable nozzles penetrating inside the bottles comprises a plurality of nozzles (4) which are positioned with their axes substantially horizontal radially on the carousel (2) and has means for causing rotation of the bottle (5), which is independent of the nozzlc, and means for causing rotation and penetration of the nozzle into the respective bottle during simultaneous tilting of the bottle and the nozzle.
