A bone implant has a shaft (1) anchored into a bone. The surface of the bone implant is shaped into detail elements (8) oriented in a certain direction. The detail elements (8) have pointed shapes and are partially linked by bridge-like and/or net-like connecting strips. An intimate connection is thus achieved between bone and implant. Also disclosed is a process for producing the bone implant by means of a model capable of being mounted.
