The invention relates to a method for sampling dispersed streams of material. According to said method, a partial stream for sampling is separated from the main process stream for subsequent analysis, via a sampling surface. Said sampling surface is smaller than the surface passed over by the main process and is fixed independently thereof. Whilst the partial stream is being separated from the main process stream, the sampling surface scans the surface over which the main process stream has passed, along a flow curve. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the inventive method.
