The invention relates to a securing member (50) fixing a unit (20) to a body (2). The inventive securing device guarantees a reliable electrical contact between the unit (20) and the securing member (5) via elastic initial tension of a spring area perpendicular to the securing device. This enables the unit (20) to be easily and simply connected to a defined electrical potential via the securing member (50). The securing device is particularly suitable for a fuel supply installation in an automotive internal combustion engine.
