摘要：
An electron-emitting device comprises a pair of electrodes (2,3) and a pair of electroconductive thin films (4,5) arranged between and connected to the pair of electrodes. An electron-emitting region is defined at a gap between the electroconductive thin films. The end of one or both electroconductive thin films facing the gap is laminated with one of respective semiconductor or metal oxide film (7) and also a respective film (8) of carbon or a carbon compound.
