Screens in a screen printing device must be positioned in relation to the material that is to be printed, that is, put into a particular position in relation to this material. When the image to be printed is changed, it takes a time to position the new screens; this has a noticeable effect on the setting up time. The invention relates to a method in which positioning of the screen is undertaken outside the printing device, and the positioned screen is then introduced into the printing device.
