摘要：
A foam control agent comprising a silicone antifoam and a dicarboxylic acid having the formula HOOCCH(R) (CH(R')) n COOH wherein R is a hydrocarbon group, R' is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and a hydrocarbon group and n is an integer having a value of from 1 to 6. The weight ratio of silicone antifoam to dicarboxylic acid is preferably from 500:1 to 10:1. Also disclosed is a detergent composition to which has been added a foam control agent as described above.
