A ratchet wrench (10) includes a ratchet head (12) having a part-cylindrical surface (18) with head teeth (20) thereon and an elongated handle (14) hingedly coupled to the head (12). The handle (14) has an axial first bore (32). A rod (46) is disposed in and movable within the first bore (32) between an engaged condition for locking the head (12) in a selected position and non-engaged condition for relative movement between the head (12) and the handle (14). A biasing structure (56) biasses the rod (46) to the engaged condition. A retaining structure (58) is coupled to the rod (46) for retaining the rod in its non-engaged condition.
