The invention relates to a biodegradable multilayer film material suitable for use in the manufacture of ostomy/urostomy bags and pouches comprising a gas barrier layer and two outer layers of biodegradable ester-amide copolymers. The new multilayer gas barrier film is 100% biodegradable and has improved softness and quietness characteristics.
