The dual diffuser assembly (10) of the present invention includes a first (23) and second (24) diffuser body in fluid communication with an air distribution pipe (14). The diffuser assembly (10) further includes a saddle (16) that connects the first diffuser body (23) and the second diffuser body (24) to the distribution pipe (14). The fluid received from the distribution pipe (14) passes into the first and second diffuser bodies (23, 24) and exits the first diffuser body (23) through a first diffuser (35) and exits the second diffuser body (24) through a second diffuser (36). The first and second diffusers (35, 36) form the air into fine bubbles that serve to facilitate aeration of the medium.
