The invention relates to a method for producing a stove-enameled molded component made from a dual-layered sheet of metal comprising two covering sheets with an intermediate epoxy resin layer that is glued to one of the covering sheets. In order to obtain a high buckling resistance for a low surface weight, maintaining an adhesive connection between the the covering sheets and the inermediate layer, while at the same time allowing for deformation of the dual-layer sheet by deep drawing in particular without subjecting the covering sheets to excessive stress, the epoxy resin that is used is polymerized exclusively at stove-enameling temperatures, being coherent but not polymerized when the dual-layer sheet is deformed, while the enamel is stoved only after the deformed component is lacquered, whereby said stoving occurs at a temperature at which polymerization of the epoxy resin of the intermediate layer also occurs.
