The device furthermore comprises weighing means for determining the amount of material that is present on the loading unit. A side wall of the mixing chamber can be provided with an opening through which material to be mixed can be introduced into the mixing chamber. The loading unit can pivot between a first position near the floor on which the device is present, and a second position, wherein the loading unit at least partially closes said opening.
