An automatic sheet feeding mechanism comprising: first means (66,68) for selectively moving a sheet (33) of media from a stack (32); a separation roll (72") for engaging said sheet (33) of media, said separation roll (72") being mounted on a first shaft (65") and adapted to rotate therewith; and kicker means (76";77") for retaining media on said stack (32) in a first position, said kicker means (76";77") being mounted on said shaft (65") and adapted to rotate therewith.
