摘要:
A magnetic recording medium comprising:
a non-magnetic base film; and
a magnetic recording layer comprising a binder resin and magnetic composite particles which have an average particle diameter of from 0.02 to 0.70 µm and which comprise:
(a) magnetic core particles,
(b) a coating provided on the surface of said magnetic core particles, comprising at least one organosilicon compound selected from:
(1) organosilane compounds obtainable from alkoxysilane compounds, and
(2) polysiloxanes or modified polysiloxanes, and
(c) a phthalocyanine-based pigment coat which is provided on said coating (b) in an amount of 1 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of said magnetic core particles (a).
